        burnwind.zip

 An utility for LISA_OAC

This tool, complete with all original acknowledgements,
licenses etc, should be able, in a well-equipped
 completely normal typical commercial platform,
when unzipped in a proper folder, then double-clicked
on (or whatever is appropriate, it might e.g. require
that Java is installed in a conventional way so that
a double-click on a .jar file can run it), to burn
an iso cd file to a cd so that the cd is exactly
that iso image -- perhaps a bootable cd, depending
on the iso image chosen. The files provided here
are called .img but some might prefer another suffix
(maybe .iso, you will have to check in the documentation
for the tool). Note that this author has simply found
this tool on the public domain search engines and
has included it only because it seems to do the job
easily enough and to save search time for newcomers
to the great idea of iso cd burning. A Linux platform
is usually well-equipped enough from birth to do such
a thing and need no extra tool. The content of the
burnwind.zip will be changed to accomodate changes
 in what is a typical commercial platform, when need be;
the content of the .zip, moreover, is entirely and
in all ways untouched, exactly as found, e.g. at
 the excellent software service www.sourceforge.net
or the freeware software service www.zdnet.com.
(However, there is in these services undue focus, in this
author's opinion, on number of previous downloads [as of 2007],
which is a highly uncertain and not very welcoming way to pick
out the best of the newest software.)
